Flippers get their toys out the toy box

PUT your Playstations away and switch off your televisions. Come and join me for a moment in a world of fresh air and with a set of rather special friends that have their favourite toys just like us. I’ve received a complaint from Allegro, Isis, Fox, Ada, Star, Celsius, Maya and Echo that they are doing all the work and not getting a mention.

‘A Rich Kitchen of Many Countries’ Kalyon Restaurant

Mr Hakki Kalyoncuoglu, the owner of the Kalyon Restaurant and for all the seriousness of his look in this shot he is actually a most pleasant gentleman to speak to. Please note that he also has another Kalyon restaurants in Didim and in Altinkum too.

Proposal at Ephesus

Ephesus, once, the trade centre of the ancient world, a religious centre of the early Christianity and today, Ephesus is more than that now for one couple.

With thousands of visitors on a tour of Ephesus one visitor took it upon himself to propose to his girlfriend Judy Kelly from Manchester, Ade Whitefoot also from Manchester dropped down on one knee in front of hundreds of visitors in the small ampitheatre and boldly shouted to the top  "Judy will you marry me"

Visitors were asking if it was for real and even Judy and friends were stunned.

The answer!!! Find out here.

Turkey's national air carrier company has signed a sponsor agreement with English football club Manchester United, the air carrier said Friday.

The Turkish Airlines (THY), the sixth biggest air carrier in Europe, said an official ceremony would be held in the coming days at the Old Trafford Stadium.

THY did not reveal immediately how much the deal cost for the air carrier.

The three-and-a-half-year agreement gives THY the official sponsor title to have the right to use billboards inside the Old Trafford Stadium during matches as well as on the internet.

THY will be able to organize promotion activities, featuring team members in commercial films, and air TV spots on Manchester United's television channel.

The Turkish airline company will also carry United's team members to tournaments and training camps outside Britain. ..turkishweekly

Fact:
Turkey has a coastline of over 5000 miles and is surrounded by sea on three sides, the Black Sea in the North, the Mediterranean in the south and the Aegean Sea in the West. There is also an internal sea, the Sea of Marmara, between the straits of the Dardanelles and the Bosphorus. Turkey holidays offer an opportunity to see historic treasures spanning 10,000 years. Even on short holiday in Turkey, you can see a great deal of this great past.
