UK – Turkey celebrates the cooperation between two countries

The British Ambassador, David Reddaway, and his wife Roshan Reddaway held a reception on 22 June 2011 to mark the Queen’s Birthday and celebrate the strength of the relationship between the UK and Turkey. Ex-Minister for Culture and Tourism Ertuğrul Günay attended the event representing the Turkish government.
The reception provided an excellent opportunity to meet with contacts from the government, political, cultural, business and diplomatic circles and to underline the cooperation and collaboration that exist between the two countries. Guests were entertained by the Turkish Armed Forces Brass Band  and Trio.  The reception reflected the spirit of all the countries that make up the United Kingdom with traditional food from Wales, England, Scotland and Northern Ireland being enjoyed by the guests.
